Yes, I know all scorpions have at least eight feet, but this one was over eight feet long! British scientists found the sea scorpion fossil in the 390-million-year-old remains of a marsh near Prum, Germany, and say it could be the ancestor of all arachnids, including spiders, scorpions, mites, and ticks. You'd need a lot more deet to keep it away, though.
