Boy Bawang hot garlic flavor fried corn snack, purchased at H-Mart in Little Ferry, NJ.  A product of the Phiippines.  Ingredients include fried corn, vegetable oil, salt, sugar, MSG, and garlic and chili powder.

Before I found this, the concept of fried corn had not occurred to me.  Since hard corn kernels tend to pop, I guess they use canned or fresh kernels.  They're sort of like crunchy beans, or a cross between puffed wheat and corn nuts.  I would have enjoyed them more, but the garlic and chili flavoring was a little strong.
