Interviewees dispute Palin show promotion.

Fox News has been promoting interviews with Toby Keith, L.L. Cool J (real name James Todd Smith), and others for the show Sarah Palin: Real American Stories, but Keith and L.L. say they never talked with Palin and don't want to people to get the impression than they had.  Instead, Fox is using archived interviews done before Palin joined the network and packaging them with Palin as an anchor, while still promoting it as if Palin had done the interviews herself.  After L.L. disassociated his interview from Palin, a Fox spokesperson had a dismissive and pejorative response:  "Real American Stories features uplifting tales about overcoming adversity and we believe Mr. Smith's interview fit that criteria. However, as it appears that Mr. Smith does not want to be associated with a program that could serve as an inspiration to others, we are cutting his interview from the special and wish him the best with his fledgling acting career."  (Emphasis mine.)  Meow.
