Confessions of a couch potato
What is the longest uninterrupted period of time you've ever watched TV? Were you alone or with a friend/partner? Do you tend to watch more TV when you're happy, depressed, or simply bored?

I think it was probably about 36 hours, give or take a few, from 12/31/1999 to 1/2/2000.  I was watching coverage of the Millennium celebrations around the world, on PBS and other stations.  As soon as I saw the clips of Jean Michel Jarre's 12 Dreams of the Sun concert in Cairo, I wished I was there instead.  As soon as I get a time machine, I will be.
