"DELICIOUS NAM SAUSAGE". We'll see. This is packaged like the pickled sausages you find with the Slim Jims you find in convenience stores, but with a tiny hot pepper for flavoring. Ingredients include pork, pork skin, garlic, pepper, sugar, salt, monosodium glutamate, sodium erythorbate, and sodium nitrate. If it kills me, it won't be from a sodium deficiency.  I bought the one with the least air in the package.  I didn't trust the puffier packages, some as inflated as blimps.

The inside of the package had the same juices you'd find in a pickled sausage, too.  The tiny pepper was tolerably hot, and tasty.

It said to cook thoroughly, so I baked it at 400 degrees for 15 minutes.  During cooking, it grew bumpy bits that stuck to the plate like gum when it rolled on the plate.  I think it might be the garlic.

Flavorwise, it's not too bad.  It tastes like a cross between a kielbasa and a Slim Jim, with the texture of a kielbasa.
