BBC recovering lost Doctor Who episodes from deep space!

BBC NEWS | Science/Nature | 47 year old television signals bouncing back to Earth

It's like an old Doctor Who episode, literally!  Television signals are echoing off a deep-space object, giving the BBC the opportunity to recover lost episodes of Doctor Who.  I'm assuming the episodes are from the 1980s.  You would think episodes from that time would already be recorded, and they were... Until the Beeb reused the tapes to save money.  So far about 7 weeks of programming have been recovered since radio astronomers have realized the signals were bouncing back.  The "Bounce Anomaly" is theorized to be a cloud of asteroids about 25 light years away.

Coyoty eats luncheon food.

Luncheon food, originally uploaded by Coyoty.

Brought back from the luncheon where I got an award for ten years of service. Eggplant lasagna, capered chicken, green beans, mashed potatoes, and multigrain bread. Catered by Tunxis Community College's Corner Cafe. The chicken and the bread were both excellent. I have to encourage them to have the bread regularly.
