Thanksgiving Day

I took my father to the Stonewell Restaurant in Farmington, CT for Thanksgiving dinner. It's a very nice family run restaurant, so I figured we'd get a good family style Thanksgiving dinner, and I wasn't disappointed. The turkey dinner had the traditional mashed potatoes and gravy, vegetables, and mounds of turkey and sausage stuffing, more than one person can eat in one sitting. I think I saw everyone having to carry home leftovers. For dessert there was homemade pumpkin pie, of course. For larger parties, such as families, they would let the patrons carve their own turkey, which was brought to the table on request. That way, people would get drumsticks and wishbones as well as white meat, and I think they'd get to take the remainder home for leftovers, too.

After dinner, I took pictures of my father's apartment. I've mentioned before how I doubt my father has any idea what furries are, but if the fandom had existed 50 years ago, he might have been one. He has pictures and figurines of wolves everywhere, including the shower tiles. Click on the photos for full view of all the wolves:
