wet coyote

Coyoty eats chayote.

Dried chayote from China, purchased at A Dong Supermarket in West Hartford, CT.  Ingredients include chayote, sugar, and salt.

Chayote is a type of squash cultivated in Mexico, but apparently it's popular in China.  I bought this mainly because "chayote" looks like "coyote".

I had hoped it wouldn't taste anything like yaw wafers, but unfortunately it tastes a little like it, only not so bad.  Bad enough, though.

Coyoty eats bean curd cubes in brine with chili.

Salted bean curd cubes in brine with chili (with sesame oil), purchased at A Dong Supermarket in West Hartford, CT.  Ingredients include soybean, cooking wine, salt, chili, and sesame oil.  A product of China.

The jar says "BEST BEFORE 20-03-2008".  I say it's best never.

I'd seek therapy after trying this, but I really don't want to talk about it.
