Ludy's Instant Ginger Punch Salabat A spicy hot beverage mix from the Philippines. The ingredients are simply ground ginger, sugar, and lemon. When I saw this, I figured it would be something like the spiced apple cider mixes, and it comes pretty close. It mixes with hot water, but instead of cider, it tastes like an uncarbonated ginger beer tea. At $1.19 for 160 grams (about 5.64 ounces), it was very inexpensive, too. At the strength I've been using, I think I can get 12 mugs out of it. |
