Coyoty watches the Watchmen again.

It's a good thing I did.  The first time around, there's a lot you don't know to notice, so it goes over your head.  The second time around, you recognize what's actually happening and what it all really means.  This is one of those pictures you have to see more than once to see the Big Picture.  I also found that the movie is much closer to the original than I realized.  Some things that appear to be significantly different from the original actually are the original elements in disguise, but with clues to what's under the mask.  For example, and this shouldn't spoil anything for those who haven't seen the books or movie, the S.Q.U.I.D.

I'm sure the picture will grow even further on additional viewings, but I can't afford to keep watching Watchmen at the theatre.  This may be the first good reason I'll have to get a Blue Ray player, to see not only what I missed in the theatre, but the additional material I won't get from the cable showing, such as the bits that were edited from the movie, and the "Black Freighter" comic/cartoon segments that'll be incorporated into the Watchmen movie.
