Japanese develop thought imaging system.



Get out your foil hats!

Researchers from five private institutes in Japan have developed a system using MRIs and computers (running neural nets, I assume) that interprets subjects' brain signals into images of what they're looking at or imagining.  Right now it produces blurry black-and-white images of people's visualizations, but then that's how TV started.  The study is published in the science journal Neuron.
