Coyoty eats an Arby's Roast Beef Sandwich meal

Arby's Roast Beef Sandwich meal, originally uploaded by Coyoty.

Regular roast beef sandwich, potato cakes, and sweet tea from Arby's in Bristol, CT.

This is the first thing I've ever had from Arby's. There never were any near me, and one just opened down the road. I'd been looking forward to trying them, and now I'm not.

Frankly, I don't know what's so special about them. The outlet here is smaller than I expected a fast food place to be, and everything on the menu can easily and cheaply be made at home. It's supermarket roast beef on a supermarket sesame bun, supermarket horseradish sauce, supermarket toaster hash browns, and supermarket iced tea. Except that at home I would have had better aim on placing the roast beef, and wouldn't have squooshed the sandwich, and the sweet tea would have been colder than tepid.
