Tiny Human Stomachs Grown in Lab

Tiny Human Stomachs Grown in Lab

Grown from stem cells, the tiny tummies are miniature models of mature human stomachs, with the same lining structure and acid regulation, but not the acid production.  They are used to study the ailments of natural stomachs, such as ulcer-producing H. pylori bacteria, and can be used as patches to damaged stomach and intestine tissue.
