9th Circuit Appeals Court: 4th Amendment Applies At The Border; Also: Password Protected Files Shouldn't Arouse Suspicion | Techdirt

The 4th Amendment protects against unreasonable searches.  The ruling limits searches at the borders to cursory searches such as a cop would do at a traffic stop.  Cursory search of electronic files is limited to looking AT the files, not IN them.
